Music Director Ilayaraja cannot claim that he is above all other musicians, opined Madras High Court. The triumvirate of Music Muthuswamy Dikshitar, Thyagarajar and Shyama Shastry only claim that they are above other musicians, the court said. His client Ilayaraja is below only to God but above other musicians, Ilayaraja’s counsel Sathish Parasaran had claimed before the court in a royalty related case.

The case was adjourned to April 24
